Hi guys!!

Just to let you guys know that Yorkshire Cosplay Con 8 (on 8th August at Magna Science Adventure Centre) tickets are NOW on sale!

We have made some changes to our ticketing system to help ease some of the traffic flow on the day and we hope you like it. Firstly, Early Bird tickets will now allow you access to the event from 11am onwards (if you have already purchased Early Bird tickets this will apply to you aswell), these tickets have a limited quantity of 1000.As well as Early Bird Tickets we also have General Access Tickets. With these tickets you will be able to access the event from 12noon onwards.

Another change we have made is a new area to enter the event, people will be entering through the Faces of Steel, instead of the Red Hall, which is located to the right of the main entrance to Magna. This should calm some of the crowds in the Red Hall, which will still be set up a a dinning area. Also we will be using handstamps as we feel these will be much quicker to apply, we will also be having more staff on the door to speed up entry.

Also we are updating the layout of the main hall and the side rooms to allow more space for the traders, so you can view their items better, and more space for the stage. In all we feel these changes will benefit everyone that comes to the convention and make the day more enjoyable.

Remember, you can benefit from buying tickets early for another reason - YCC8 contests are now officially OPEN! You'll also need a ticket number to enter our Talent or Cosplay contests to win cool prizes, which be revealed soon! As well we will also have Under 12's Cosplay Contest, Art Contest and the Quiz, these will all be entry on the day.

We would like to let everyone know that we have sold out of trader places for Yorkshire Cosplay Con 8. Anyone wishing to apply for a trader place need to be aware of this, we will keep your details if we have any cancellations but we do already have quite a waiting list.
