Well its been a busy week so sorry for the late post. We have been doing some promotion yesterday with Smyths Toys at Cortonwood Retail Park in Barnsley. We was there with Spiderman handing out flyers and providing photo opportunities to people visiting the store. They also had a DJ and was offering free face painting for the children. They had one of the busiest days we have seen and we was glad to be a part of that.

Also this week we have signed up professional costumer Stacey Rebecca and Signed up the Transformers Cars Bumble Bee and Barricade. We are very excited about these new guests and will have their pages up soon.

Also we have just launched our art, costume, talent and the brand new photo contest sign up forms. Sign up for the contests here, remember though that these contests will require your ticket numbers and get filled quickly. The new photo contest is a new idea that we want to try, we are looking for you guys to send us a photo of you in your favourite cosplay with a speach bubble added and completing the phrase "I like Yorkshire Cosplay Con Because..."

For anyone looking to purchase tickets in person from us we will be having a stall at Better Barnsley what used to be HMV in Barnsley town centre on Friday 31st October 2014. This will be in partnership with Talk Geeky to Me! so as well as being able to purchase tickets for Yorkshire Cosplay Con you can check there items and have a preview of what they may be selling at the Convention. Spiderman may also be making a guest appearance.

We have our Halloween Costume contest on facebook will close on 31st October 2014 so don't forget to send us your pictures there to be in with a chance of winning. As well as this we have a retweet contest running on twitter so check us out on there.
